Empowering the Next Generation

The Youth Filmmaking Program is a groundbreaking initiative by PTAFF that combines the art of storytelling with the principles of social justice. Designed for aspiring filmmakers aged 15–21, this hands-on program equips young creators with the technical skills, creative confidence, and ethical foundation to tell impactful stories that challenge norms, inspire action, and advocate for change.

Participants will explore the intersection of film and activism, learning how to craft narratives that reflect diverse perspectives and address pressing social issues.

  • Workshops on Storytelling, Cinematography, and Editing:
    Master the craft of visual storytelling with expert-led sessions on writing compelling scripts, capturing stunning visuals, and editing for impact.

  • Mentorship by Industry Professionals:

Are you a filmmaker, storyteller, or creative visionary with a passion for social justice? The Pembroke Taparelli Arts and Film Festival (PTAFF) 2025 is now accepting submissions! 

This is your chance to showcase powerful narratives that confront inequality, amplify unheard voices, and inspire change. We’re searching for bold, authentic, and thought-provoking works that resonate with audiences and spark meaningful dialogue.

 

We’re Looking For:
Films & Videos: Narrative, documentary, animated, or experimental.
Podcasts: Stories that inform and inspire action.
Music Videos: Visually stunning creations with a message of justice and hope.

✔️ Regular: May 9th, 2025
